MacSmiths

Macsmiths is a student-led engineering team dedicated to blacksmithing and metallurgy. Each year their team designs, hand-forges, and characterizes a blade to compete at international competitions. As part of these competitions they are tasked with forging a blade and producing a 5 minute video, 10-page report, and poster.

It is a free low-commitment club supported by the faculty of Materials Engineering which provides hands-on blacksmithing experience. Sessions are drop-in and beginner friendly so come hit some hot steel and learn to forge whatever your heart desires
